Carlos Moedas, European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, in Athens for the Prima Initiative
The General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs is organizing an open event for the Euro-Mediterranean Initiative PRIMA, on Monday September 25, 2017, at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (48 Vas. Konstantinou, Amphitheater of L. Zervas).
The aim of the PRIMA initiative is to foster innovative research approaches so as to address critical problems such as water management and agri-food systems in the Mediterranean, a region particularly affected by climate change, urbanization, immigration and population growth.
Carlos Moedas, EU Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, will be the main speaker of the event.
Costas Fotakis, Alternate Minister for Education, Research and Religious Affairs, responsible for Research and Innovation, will give the opening speech.
